The Artist

Benjamin Finn, born in 1964, in Worcestershire, initially studied marine biology at university, but after deciding to change
direction he took a two year diploma course at Central School of Art, Holborn, London, under Amal Ghosh, followed by a year
as a Caroline Swash Fellow
In 1992 he married and moved to Essex. In 1995 he approached Friends of Friendless Churches about using a local church under their care - St Peters Church, Wickham Bishops - as a studio.
They agreed to this and work was carried out in 1996 to further conserve the building and to make it usable as a stained glass studio.
Benjamin has since worked there producing new stained glass works for churches, houses, schools and for exhibition, and repairing and restoring glass in the East Anglian region.
Andrew is an artist specialising in "historic" methods such as Fresco painting, Scraffito, Gilding and stained glass.
He works as a glass conservator with Benjamin and has assisted in other projects produced at St Peters.
